A hidden treasure amongst all the great venues in Washington, DC, the Heurich House Museum is an historic house museum located just off of Dupont Circle. Its construction was completed in 1894 by German immigrant and philanthropist, Christian Heurich, and to this day is one of the the most intact Victorian houses in the country. For wedding receptions expecting up to 200 guests, Heurich House is a unique and elegant space for your wedding day. Their bright and spacious Conservatory and secluded urban “Secret Castle Garden” are perfect for wedding ceremonies and outdoor dining. A special event rental at the Heurich House Museum includes use of all public spaces in the museum. Guests can wander throughout the house, view the intact decorations and furnishings, and learn about the history from trained Museum Docents. Outdoors, our wireless Bose satellite speakers will seamlessly blend into the foliage of the Castle Garden. And indoors, our DJs typically set up in the ballroom, adjacent to the room’s Victorian-style fountain. For years, Bryan George and his team of talented wedding DJs have provided fun and elegant music for receptions at Christian Heurich House. We are very familiar with their space, load-in and set-up procedures.
