The historical Carnegie Institute of Science is one the most sought-after wedding venues in Washington, DC. Bryan George and his team of talented DJs have performed for weddings at Carnegie Institute dozens of times in the past. It’s one of our favorites! Built in the early 1900s, a resolution was passed to construct a building that’s structure would reflect the quality and excellence of the institution’s work and symbolize its permanence in the nation’s capital. The architects managed to maintain a sense of elegance and proportion commensurate with the building’s location on one of the grand thoroughfares of the city.
Picture this: Your ceremony takes place in Carnegie’s breathtaking rotunda. Bryan George Music Services plays your processional song from their sleek and stylish Bose speaker towers as you walk down the beautiful marble staircase. After being pronounced husband and wife, your guests enjoy cocktails in the Board Room while one of our wireless Bose speakers fills the room with classic and elegant cocktail music. For dinner, a pair of our wireless Bose towers continue to provide an unbelievably low-volume, full and balanced sound throughout the ballroom. When dinner has completed and you and your guests are ready to party, reenter the transformed rotunda where Bryan and his team of associates will seamlessly mix dance sets that are inspired by the artists and songs you told us you love–all culminating in an incredible, stress-free party, and memories to last a lifetime.
